You will oversee inventory management, coordinate shipping and receiving, manage staff schedules, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Your role will involve problem-solving, process improvement, and ensuring the efficiency of our logistics flow. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS software.
- Coordinate the scheduling of inbound and outbound logistics.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to procedures.
- Implement and enforce all safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct regular safety audits and address any potential hazards.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Warehouse Coordinator or similar supervisory role.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and experience enforcing PPE requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems effectively.
- Physical ability to navigate the warehouse and potentially assist with tasks involving lifting.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
