Job Summary:
Are you technically skilled and enjoy hands-on work? We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Technician in Omaha, Nebraska! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various warehouse equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Your expertise will directly support our Logistics operations, keeping our machinery running efficiently and safely. We are looking for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to workplace Safety. The ideal candidate will have experience with equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Familiarity with warehouse systems and procedures is a plus. This role requires a meticulous approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance team. You will ensure that all safety protocols are followed rigorously during maintenance activities and that all necessary PPE is utilized. This is a key position for ensuring the reliability of our operations and contributing to our overall success in the logistics sector. Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, pallet wrappers).
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify root causes.
  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize unexpected breakdowns.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repair histories.
  • Operate a forklift or other machinery as needed to access or move equipment for repairs.
  • Adhere strictly to all Safety procedures and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout protocols.
  • Wear appropriate PPE during all maintenance and repair tasks.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade school preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems relevant to warehouse equipment.
  • Familiarity with Logistics operations and equipment.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Commitment to Safety and understanding of workplace safety standards.
