Supply Chain Analyst III
The Supply Chain Analyst III is a senior-level analytical role responsible for delivering advanced insights that improve supply chain performance, cost efficiency, service levels, and end-to-end visibility. This position leads complex data analysis, develops predictive and diagnostic models, and partners cross-functionally to drive operational decision-making. A strong emphasis is placed on Power BI, data visualization, and transforming complex datasets into actionable intelligence for leadership and operations teams. Candidate must be local to the MN area. No relocation assistance or sponsorship is available for this position. Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Reporting Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting solutions that support daily, weekly, and monthly operational reviews. Analyze supply chain data across forecasting, inventory management, procurement, production, logistics, and customer fulfillment to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Lead the integration and validation of data from ERP systems, planning tools, and other enterprise data sources. Build compelling data visualizations that simplify complex operational metrics and highlight performance drivers. Forecasting & Planning Support demand planning and S&OP processes with advanced statistical analysis and scenario modeling. Partner with production planning and procurement teams to optimize inventory targets, safety stock strategies, and replenishment parameters. Identify forecast accuracy gaps and drive root-cause analysis to reduce error and variability. Process Optimization & Strategy Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify inefficiencies in manufacturing flow, material availability, transportation, and supplier performance. Lead or support continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and process engineering methodologies. Build business cases, ROI analyses, and capacity models to support strategic investments or supply chain transformations. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with operations, finance, sourcing, logistics, and leadership teams to interpret data and align on action plans. Serve as a subject matter expert on supply chain analytics and best practices for data-driven decision-making. Present insights and recommendations to senior management with clarity, confidence, and data-backed storytelling. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related field. 5+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, operations planning, or related analytical roles. Advanced proficiency with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, row-level security, and dashboard design. Strong skills in data visualization, dashboard storytelling, and designing intuitive visual models for business users. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, BaanIV, etc.). Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, diagnose issues, and propose actionable solutions. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Analytics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration. Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics. Familiarity with machine learning concepts, forecasting models, and optimization algorithms. Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt). Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site operations.
