What You'll Do Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and product teams to plan, design, and deliver end-to-end features Build and maintain high-quality, performant, and secure web applications across the frontend and backend Take ownership of complex technical initiatives, from architecture through deployment and long-term maintenance Design, implement, and maintain APIs and backend services using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks Deploy and manage containerized services in cloud environments Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack development: React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, including backend development with Node.js Hands-on experience deploying and operating containerized services in cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP Strong understanding of relational database systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL Proven track record of designing, building, delivering, and maintaining critical web-based software systems

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the pay range varies depending on location. If based in California, the range will be $50/hr-$63/hr. If based in Austin, the range will be $45/hr-$55/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
