In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your primary duties will include reading order forms, locating products within the warehouse, carefully picking the correct items, and securely packing them for safe transit. This position is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. We maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety, and all employees are required to follow safety guidelines diligently, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role requires physical agility and the ability to perform frequent lifting of items, typically up to 40 lbs. You will be part of a collaborative team environment, working efficiently to meet daily targets. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or electronic devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package products securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through careful picking and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve packing and shipping goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate order picking and packing.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations is a plus.
