We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our distribution center running smoothly and efficiently. This includes receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and on time. You will work closely with other team members and supervisors to ensure that all warehouse operations meet our high standards for productivity and safety. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring that our clients receive their goods promptly. You will be trained on all aspects of warehouse operations, from inventory management to order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a warehouse setting is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. We emphasize a team-oriented approach and encourage open communication. Our commitment to safety is paramount, and all associates are expected to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise accurately and efficiently in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly packaged.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Contribute to team efforts and support colleagues.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
