We are seeking a diligent Picker/Packer to join our vibrant logistics team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be at the forefront of fulfilling customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from the moment an item is picked to when it's ready for shipment. You will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of service. The ideal candidate is someone who is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to workplace safety. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before proceeding to packing.
- Package orders securely, selecting appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply correct shipping labels and any required documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as directed.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity targets for picking and packing functions.
- Perform other duties within the warehouse as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is highly valued.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Must have the physical capacity to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational skills and effective time management.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of logistics and order fulfillment processes.
