We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Worker to join our team in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Store merchandise in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick items for outgoing orders accurately using order lists or scanners.
- Pack orders securely for safe transit.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety standards and using appropriate PPE.
- Assist with shipping documentation and processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, stooping, and reaching for extended periods.
- Must be capable of regular lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable and able to work flexible hours if required.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
