We are seeking reliable Picker/Packers for our busy warehouse located in Boston, Massachusetts. This essential role involves accurately selecting products for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. You will be a key contributor to our logistics and fulfillment processes, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and efficiently. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are vital.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Pack products securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order contents against customer orders for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing productivity targets.
- Assist with inventory control procedures, including cycle counting.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Foster a cooperative and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the use of PPE is required.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
