Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify delivery manifests and reconcile received goods against purchase orders.
- Accurately record received items into the warehouse management system.
- Tag and label incoming inventory correctly.
- Organize and store received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Communicate any receiving issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Support other warehouse functions during peak periods.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Experience in logistics or distribution is beneficial.
- A reliable and diligent work ethic.
