We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving and preparing customer orders from warehouse shelves. This role is crucial to our efficient operations and ensuring timely delivery to our clients. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment, including boxing and labeling.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking quotas and deadlines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and security.
Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is preferred. Ability to read and understand order tickets and item numbers. Must be comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds regularly. A strong commitment to safety protocols and proper use of PPE is essential. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
