We are looking for dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our facility in Detroit, Michigan. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, involving the physical handling and movement of goods within the warehouse. You will be responsible for tasks such as loading and unloading shipments, stocking shelves, picking items for orders, and preparing goods for dispatch. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and all employees are expected to adhere strictly to established protocols and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, and possess a positive attitude towards teamwork and productivity in a demanding logistics environment. Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming merchandise and materials.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Assist in loading outbound shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, free from hazards.
- Operate manual handling equipment as needed, such as pallet jacks.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and wear designated PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counting.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor role is preferred.
- Must be able to perform strenuous physical activities, including Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Must comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics setting.
