We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking orders, ensuring quality packaging, and preparing items for shipment. Your dedication to efficiency and accuracy is crucial to our operations. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the warehousing industry. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Inspect items for damage before packaging.
- Package products securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing targets.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Be prepared for tasks involving significant Lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following guidelines.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
