We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Los Angeles, California. The Material Handler plays a crucial role in the efficient movement and storage of goods within our warehouse. This position requires individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for various tasks including loading and unloading trucks, moving materials to and from production areas, and ensuring inventory is accurately recorded and stored. This role is essential to our daily operations and contributes directly to the smooth flow of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload shipments using manual and powered equipment.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed (certification may be required).
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including proper use of PPE .
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Commitment to Safety and following procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong attendance record.
