Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory accuracy metrics.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
- Assist in the reconciliation of inbound and outbound shipments with inventory records.
- Train other staff members on inventory control procedures.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support the logistics team in maintaining overall warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform basic physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of logistics operations and best practices.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
