We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our team in sunny Orlando, Florida. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing the movement and organization of materials within our facility. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
- Storing materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Transporting materials to and from production or shipping areas.
- Assisting with inventory management, including stock counts and location verification.
- Performing routine checks on equipment to ensure operational readiness and Safety .
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Complying with all company policies and procedures, especially those related to hazardous materials and general warehouse safety.
- Wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
The successful candidate will have proven experience operating various types of material handling equipment and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including substantial Lifting (up to 70 lbs), and standing for extended periods.
