Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our facility in Kansas City, Missouri. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities essential to the smooth operation of our distribution center. You will be involved in tasks such as receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining inventory. This position demands reliability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will play a key part in our logistics network, ensuring that products move through the facility accurately and on time. We prioritize the safety of our employees and require strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory.
  • Sort and stock merchandise accurately.
  • Pick products for customer orders using various picking methods.
  • Pack orders safely and efficiently for shipment.
  • Process and prepare outgoing shipments.
  • Conduct inventory checks and participate in cycle counting.
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE at all times.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse role is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
