Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if trained and certified).
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against records and invoices.
- Inspect materials for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding material status and any issues encountered.
- Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge related to warehouse operations and safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
