Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders efficiently and accurately using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, following proper procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of required PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, following all safety guidelines.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus but not required; we provide training.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Understanding of safety regulations and the importance of PPE in a logistics setting.
