Join our team in Denver, Colorado, as a Material Handler and play a key role in the efficient movement of goods within our state-of-the-art facility. This position is fundamental to our Logistics operations, ensuring that materials are transferred, stored, and retrieved safely and effectively. You will operate various types of material handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and store materials. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically fit, and possesses good manual dexterity. We emphasize a strong Safety culture and provide comprehensive training on equipment operation and adherence to all safety guidelines. This role involves frequent Lifting of heavy items, and the use of required PPE is mandatory. Your contribution is vital to maintaining optimal workflow and preventing bottlenecks in our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Receive and store incoming materials, verifying quantities and condition.
- Pick materials for production or shipment.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety procedures and company policies.
- Participate in inventory management activities as needed.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment.
- Valid forklift certification (preferred).
- Ability to perform frequent and strenuous Lifting.
- Good knowledge of warehouse Safety practices.
- Understanding of basic Logistics concepts.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to wear and properly use PPE.
- Strong physical stamina and coordination.
- Reliable and punctual.
