We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and store a variety of goods within our warehouse. This role is crucial to maintaining the smooth flow of operations and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to manage inventory, pick and pack orders, and prepare shipments. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies and procedures is paramount. Your daily tasks will involve inspecting forklifts for any operational issues before use, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and accurately documenting all movements of inventory. We value teamwork, efficiency, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience with various types of forklifts is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
