Join our growing team in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to contribute to our order fulfillment process. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves and then efficiently and carefully pack them for shipment. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order delivery. You'll use scanning technology to locate items and follow detailed instructions to ensure precision. Emphasis will be placed on maintaining a high level of accuracy, speed, and adherence to Safety protocols. This position is physically active, involving standing, walking, and occasional Lifting. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees are required to use appropriate PPE. Become a key player in our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items specified on customer orders using handheld scanners.
- Verify picked items for accuracy before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and wear designated PPE.
- Meet daily picking and packing productivity targets.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as directed.
- Perform tasks that require moderate Lifting and physical exertion.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain process.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in order picking and packing is advantageous but not required. Ability to work with accuracy and speed in a fast-paced setting. Physical capability to stand for long periods, walk, and perform regular Lifting. Strong attention to detail. Commitment to upholding Safety standards. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
