Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Tampa, Florida? We are seeking skilled and safety-minded individuals to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to move, locate, replenish, and stage materials efficiently and safely throughout our warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, exceptional attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to workplace Safety .
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials.
- Perform daily inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Retrieve and deliver materials to and from production, shipping, and receiving areas.
- Accurately stack and store merchandise to optimize warehouse space.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Ensure all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and wear required PPE .
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
- Support our Logistics team by ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid forklift certification and demonstrated experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and Logistics .
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of forklift operational procedures and critical Safety measures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
