Join our fast-paced logistics facility in San Jose, California, as a Warehouse Worker! This is a hands-on role critical to the efficient operation of our distribution center. You will be involved in a wide range of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are safety-conscious, reliable, and ready to contribute to a dynamic team environment. Your efforts ensure that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, playing a key part in our supply chain success.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and stock rotation.
- Accurately pick items from shelves based on customer orders and prepare them for packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Assist with loading outgoing shipments onto trucks, verifying order contents.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Follow all company safety protocols and utilize required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or general labor setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and use of PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
