You will work with a variety of products and utilize warehouse equipment such as scanners and pallet jacks. A commitment to safety is essential; you must adhere to all safety guidelines and wear the required PPE at all times. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using order sheets or RF scanners.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Meet productivity and accuracy targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product information.
- Proficiency with RF scanners is a plus.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic logistics and shipping processes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
