We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team in Provo, Utah. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for retrieving items from warehouse shelves, accurately scanning and logging products, and securely packaging them for delivery. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to safety protocols and proper handling of goods are paramount. You'll be working closely with inventory management systems and contributing to the overall success of our distribution center. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all company policies and procedures. Experience with RF scanners is a plus. Your role directly impacts customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. We value teamwork and encourage a collaborative atmosphere. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packaging.
- Package items securely and efficiently according to company standards.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality targets.
- Lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
