Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in Baltimore, Maryland! This critical role supports our efficient order fulfillment operations, ensuring customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. Your responsibilities will include locating items within our warehouse, carefully picking them, and securely packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order specifications using scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect picked items for quality and ensure they are free from damage.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack items securely to prevent transit damage.
- Apply accurate shipping labels and ensure packages are ready for dispatch.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks safely and responsibly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all Safety guidelines.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track orders and inventory movements.
- Wear and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) diligently.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily order fulfillment quotas.
- Assist with inventory tasks such as cycle counts and stock verification.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a picking or packing role is highly desirable. Must be capable of frequent Lifting of packages up to 40 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy. Must adhere to all Safety protocols. Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
