Join our dynamic logistics team in Philadelphia as an Order Picker! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently locate, retrieve, and stage items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications. This role is crucial for ensuring our customers receive their products accurately and on time. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and speed are paramount. The ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate lifting, is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Verify product accuracy and quantities before staging for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within established timeframes.
- Be aware of your surroundings and maintain situational awareness for overall safety.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order forms.
- Basic math skills for inventory purposes.
- Must be able to perform physical labor, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics principles is a plus.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and wearing required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
