Join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida as a Material Handler! We are seeking hardworking individuals to manage the movement of materials within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts and other equipment to transport goods, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring materials are organized and accessible. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficient flow of products through our distribution center. You will play a vital part in our supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all materials. A strong focus on Safety and operational excellence is required.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
- Move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Perform regular equipment checks and report any issues.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Support the overall logistics operations of the facility.
- Ability to perform significant Lifting of materials.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or safety hazards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator is preferred.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 60 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong commitment to Safety and adherence to protocols.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Good spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
