Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse shelves using an RF scanner or pick sheet.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely and safely for shipment.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) or other machinery as needed (certification may be required or provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and item numbers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
