Are you an experienced Picker/Packer looking for a new opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts? Join our dynamic logistics team and contribute to the efficient processing of customer orders. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory and expertly packaging them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are critical to meeting our customers' expectations and maintaining the high standards of our logistics operations. We provide a safe work environment, including all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift, and a commitment to following established safety procedures. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from shelves according to order tickets or system prompts.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and condition of items picked.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for outbound logistics carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual lifting devices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
