Responsibilities:
- Receive and process customer orders accurately using scanning technology.
- Retrieve items from warehouse storage locations according to order specifications.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and condition of items.
- Package picked items securely for transport.
- Stage orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual lifting equipment.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisory staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Team player with good communication skills.
