We are hiring skilled Forklift Operators for our expanding logistics facility in Provo, Utah. This position is critical for the efficient movement and storage of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and maintain organized storage areas. Safety is our top priority, and we are looking for operators who are committed to following all safety procedures and best practices. Your expertise will contribute directly to the smooth functioning of our supply chain and Logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move materials and products.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers according to schedule.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Stack and arrange products in an organized and secure manner.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues for maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory locations.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and stocktaking as needed.
- Keep the warehouse environment clean, safe, and free of obstructions.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting and moving items up to 75 lbs.
- Strong understanding of Logistics principles and warehouse operations.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
