We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Austin, Texas. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will involve picking items from designated warehouse locations and carefully packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves and storage areas according to order tickets.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Must be comfortable with lifting requirements, up to 50 lbs, as tasks may involve moving merchandise.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Commitment to workplace safety and understanding of basic PPE.
- This role is essential for our logistics operations and requires a reliable and dedicated individual.
