Join our dynamic team in Boise, Idaho as an Order Picker! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to accurately pick and stage products for customer orders within our warehouse. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their correct items in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to assigned orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipment.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and picking path.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as required.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Meet established productivity standards for picking efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or related role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand order sheets and product information.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of picked items.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
