As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for routine checks of equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and transporting goods to various areas of the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (various types) safely and proficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and organize materials according to warehouse layout and safety standards.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certified forklift operator with verifiable experience (minimum 2 years).
- Proven ability to operate different types of forklifts.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and safety procedures.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
- Excellent attention to detail and good judgment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
