Our New York City, New York logistics hub is searching for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, reconciling stock levels, and implementing inventory control procedures. You will work closely with warehouse associates and management to ensure that inventory data is precise and up-to-date, supporting efficient order fulfillment and operational planning. A strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills are required. Experience with inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable. Safety is paramount; you will ensure that all inventory is stored and handled in a manner that complies with safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE. While the role focuses on data and systems, occasional Lifting of items up to 30 pounds may be necessary.
