We are hiring a Receiving Clerk for our busy warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is critical for ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately documented, inspected, and processed according to company procedures. You will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, and noting any discrepancies or damages. Maintaining organized receiving areas and preparing goods for put-away are also key duties. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in warehouse logistics is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and shipping documents.
- Inspect incoming merchandise for damage or defects.
- Document and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Label and stage received goods for distribution or put-away.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
- Uphold all company Safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in warehouse receiving, inventory control, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and basic computer applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with Safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
