We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking orders, ensuring product quality, and preparing items for shipment. You will work in a fast-paced environment, playing a crucial part in our overall logistics operations. Attention to detail is paramount as you'll be selecting items from shelves and ensuring they match order specifications. Your accuracy directly impacts customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our distribution. We expect candidates to be physically capable of performing the duties required, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory to maintain a secure work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order slips.
- Inspect items for damage before packaging.
- Package items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory and order progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE as required.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of goods within the logistics network.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or picking experience preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
