We are looking for a certified Forklift Operator to join our logistics hub in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. This critical role ensures that inventory is managed effectively and operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate possesses excellent forklift operation skills, a strong understanding of warehouse Safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We are committed to maintaining a safe workplace, requiring all operators to be diligent with procedures and the mandatory use of PPE. This role involves significant Lifting and maneuvering of heavy goods.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and stage materials securely and accurately.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Proper use of PPE is mandatory for all tasks.
- Support general warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA-compliant).
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting heavy objects.
- Strong understanding of logistics and material handling.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
