Join our bustling warehouse in Madison, Wisconsin as an Order Picker! We're looking for energetic individuals to accurately and efficiently pick orders for shipment. Your primary role will involve selecting items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy, and preparing them for packing and shipping. This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We prioritize Safety and ensure all team members are trained on proper procedures and the correct use of PPE. The role involves substantial Lifting and requires stamina. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing logistics operation.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order sheets.
- Use of RF scanners to track inventory and order status.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
- Properly use all required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform repetitive Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable using RF scanning equipment.
