Exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility! As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently, playing a crucial role in our logistics and supply chain operations. Your main duties will include accurately locating, picking, and preparing items for shipment using hand-held scanners and other equipment. This role requires precision, speed, and a strong commitment to safety, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment where attention to detail and adherence to procedures are key. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and order sheets.
- Locate items within the warehouse quickly and efficiently.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Ensure picked items match order specifications precisely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as required.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking quotas and overall logistics goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and other order picking technology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs repetitively.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
