Manufacturing Inventory Picker

Job Description

Job Title: Inventory Picker
Location: Butler, NJ
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19/hour

This role is responsible for accurately picking orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting daily warehouse operations in a team-oriented environment.

• Pick component parts daily for customer work orders
• Record picked items on work order sheets and release orders in the system
• Monitor and update inventory status in the computer system and/or shortage board
• Report inventory shortages to the Inventory Supervisor promptly
• Assist in investigating inventory discrepancies as needed
• Ensure all parts are returned to the correct stock locations
• Deliver completed orders to designated areas in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate effectively within a small team setting

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer skills required (including tablets
• Basic math skills (measuring, calculator use)
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable using weight scales
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Frequently lift up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Regular standing, walking, and use of hands for handling materials
