Role Description

Job Purpose - To ensure the fulfillment of customer orders in an efficient and timely manner. As well as maintain a stock of goods, both produced by the company and ordered from suppliers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities - Daily Tasks - (+50% of time)

●     Assessment of inventory

●     Packaging, restocking, and rotating goods produced by the company. Ex. syringe packs, powdered supplements, sample packs, etc...

●     Restocking of supplies in the Shipping area. Ex. boxes, tape, Shipping labels, etc.

●     Restocking and rotation of powdered formula

●     Interfacing with the Amazon Seller website, making decisions on box size, and carrier method to ensure the best shipping option for both customer and company.

●     Interfacing with the Shopify Seller website, making decisions on box size and shipping method to ensure the best shipping option for both the customer and the company.

●     Printing of Packing Slips and Shipping Labels.

●     Correctly Packaging and Labeling goods for shipment.

●     Corresponding with carriers.

●     Printing of shipping manifests at end of day.

●     Communicating with the production bakery about baked goods needed for shipments.

●     Communicating with the Manager about any items that may need to be ordered.

●     Communicate with the office about any good(s) returned from Amazon, customer, or shipping provider.

●     Keep the computer and shipping area clean and free of clutter. (Take out trash, take cardboard to the dumpster for recycling).

Bi-weekly/Weekly Tasks - (+25% of Time)

●     Receive orders of formula from suppliers.

●     Offload pallets and store in the Warehouse area. (Open and date any boxes lacking identification)

●     Re-stock and rotate formula in Warehouse to ensure older product is sold first.

●     Add any new stock to the inventory.

●     Receive orders of shipping supplies (Off-load pallets and store in Warehouse area)

 Occasional Tasks (When Requested/Needed) - (+10% of time)

●     Aid the production bakery in Packaging and sealing of baked goods.

●     Aid office manager in taking inventory and correcting discrepancies.

●     Aid in rearranging Office/Warehouse/Shipping areas to optimize space.

●     Aid in answering phones for basic customer service questions.

Experience/Knowledge -

●     General Warehousing experience

●     Familiar with safe food handling and housekeeping practices

●    Familiar with Apple Computers.

●     General Shipping Experience

Skills/Abilities -

●     Ability to work standing for long periods

●     Ability to lift 50lbs

●     Good understanding of Basic Math

●     Detail-oriented

●     Self-motivated
