Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and capable of maintaining accurate inventory records while ensuring stock levels meet operational demand. This role requires both physical capability and strong analytical skills to manage inventory efficiently and prevent discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and track purchase orders.
• Maintain and update inventory records using computer inventory programs such as QuickBooks
• Perform routine inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Organize and store products according to company standards
• Monitor stock levels and assist with reordering to meet demand
• Identify patterns in product movement to optimize stock levels
• Collaborate with team members and vendors to resolve inventory issues
• Communicate with team members the status of orders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to use inventory management software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Manages tasks autonomously
• Ability to perform basic mental math for order verification
• Physical strength and stamina to lift, move, and organize inventory
• Excellent manual dexterity for handling products and materials
• Forklift experience preferred

Work Environment

This role involves a combination of administrative computer work and physical activity in a warehouse or storage environment. Candidates must be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting inventory as needed.
