Material Handler

Job Description

Körber Pharma Packaging Materials ; A global leader of high-quality folding cartons and literature for the pharmaceutical industry is in search of Material Handlers who are interested in working with a fast growing company.

Duties:

• Operator Forklift and and Hand Jack
• Monitor packing quality and accuracy, maintaining accurate counts and load ticket paper work
• Assist mechanic as needed
• Stage material
• Perform stripping duties as necessary
• Read and understand job jackets
• Use information to ensure production is run according to specifications
• Keeps all waste and scrap within company guidelines
• Assist in any other duties assigned

Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate and follow both verbal and written instructions
• Operate a Forklift and Hand Jack
• Capable of lifting (35 lbs) pull and push bundles frequently.
• Able to stand at least 12 hours
• Ability to work from per-determined quality standards
• Able to complete production documentation
