Job Description
Job Title: Commissary Manager
Location: (Rogue River)
Schedule: 5-6 days a week, primarily between 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM (including weekends)
Reports To: Commissary Employee
Position Summary:
The Commissary Worker plays a vital role in supporting daily food production and operations in a fast-paced commissary environment. This position involves preparing, assembling, and packaging food items while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, portioning, and packaging of food and beverage items according to company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all food preparation and storage areas.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with health regulations.
Receive, store, and rotate inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
Operate kitchen and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
Support other commissary tasks as needed to meet production deadlines and quality expectations.
Qualifications:
Valid Food Handler’s Certification (required)
Valid OLCC Certification (required)
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
Must be 18 years of age or older
Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
Work Environment:
Fast-paced, production-oriented commissary kitchen
Requires standing for most of the shift and handling various kitchen tools and equipment
Exposure to temperature variations (refrigeration/freezer areas and hot prep areas)
