Looking to work for a Moving Company? We at DSM Moving LLc are looking to hire people that want to work for a fast growing company where you will be working all year long not just Summer peaks. We are a service provider for Chipman Relocation located in Portland, Oregon. We are growing rapidly and expanding services.

Driver duties and responsibilities:

1. Safe Driving : Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the truck, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

2. Load and Unload : Assist with the loading and unloading of items, making sure that everything is packed securely to prevent damage during transit.

3. Inspection : Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to check for any mechanical issues or safety concerns.

4. Customer Interaction : Communicate with customers, providing updates on the status of the move and addressing any concerns or special instructions they may have.

5. Navigation : Plan the best routes to take for timely delivery, considering factors like traffic, road conditions, and any specific delivery instructions.

6. Documentation : Handle paperwork such as delivery forms, inventory lists, and contracts, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and accurate.

7. Maintenance : Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure, and report any major mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.

8. Safety Protocols : Follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear and ensuring that the vehicle is equipped with necessary safety equipment.

9. Customer Service : Provide a high level of customer service by being polite, professional, and accommodating, which helps ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

10. Problem-Solving : Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the move, such as unexpected delays or problems with the vehicle.

These responsibilities require a combination of driving skills, physical strength, and good communication abilities.

Pay depends on experience, but out starting hourly wage is $21.....Willing to train the right guy...
