Warehouse Coordinator

Job Description

Calumet City Plumbing Company (CCP) is hiring a Warehouse Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations, equipment maintenance, and supply coordination for field teams.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment.

You will help manage inventory, shipments, company vehicles, tools, and materials while ensuring field crews have the supplies they need to complete projects efficiently.

This position also provides direct operational support to company leadership , making it a critical role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with construction project execution from preconstruction through closeout .
• Manage project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, bonds, and insurance .
• Assist with project financial tracking , including projections, billing, cash flow reporting, and closeout documentation.
• Help prepare project estimates and bid documentation .
• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to develop and maintain project schedules .
• Assist with subcontractor coordination and administration .
• Support quality control processes to ensure contract standards and project specifications are met.
• Communicate effectively with project teams, vendors, and clients to maintain project progress.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a warehouse, construction yard, or facilities maintenance environment
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment or vehicle maintenance
• Ability to manage inventory, supplies, and warehouse organization
• Comfortable operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (or ability to obtain certification)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or warehouse systems
