Inventory Clerk - 1st Shift or 2nd Shift

Essential functions include but not limited to:

To perform daily physical inventory adjustments; to provide Accounts Payable with information pertaining to mis-receiving; to research and resolve lost inventory issues; to assist the buying department with new, discontinued, and return vendor items; to generate a weekly flash report for Grocery, Produce and Commissary; to perform aisle verifications; to work with Quality Control to maintain product integrity; to assist with maintaining inventory control reports (i.e.: lost pallets, negative pick, etc.); and to provide back-up support in Inventory Control Supervisor’s absence.

Essential Skills:

Candidate qualifications: High School diploma; 1 ½ - 2 years' experience preferred knowledge of Warehouse Management System; must be excellent with numbers; knowledge of CRT and PC literate; working knowledge of shipping procedures; must be expert in the receiving department operation; knowledge of EXE Technology WMS systems and HK systems interface; basic Word and Excel skills; and knowledge of Microsoft computer applications - Assonet, MA

1st  or 2nd Shift, overtime and weekends required.
